Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for watch4.me.

1. General Policy

1.1 No Refunds (Standard)

Fees are generally non-refundable except as described below or as required by law. When you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay for the full term (monthly or annual) regardless of usage.

1.2 Why No Refunds?

We invest resources immediately when you sign up (infrastructure, support, onboarding). As a SaaS business, we cannot "take back" the service after you've used it.

2. Exceptions (When Refunds ARE Available)

2.1 Service Level Agreement (SLA) Violations

If we fail to meet our uptime commitments, you are entitled to service credits as described in our SLA. Service credits are applied to future invoices, not cash refunds.

2.2 Billing Errors

If you were incorrectly charged due to:

  • Duplicate transaction
  • Incorrect amount
  • Billing after cancellation

We will refund the incorrect charge within 7 business days. Contact billing@watch4.me with proof of the error.

2.3 Account Termination by Us (Without Cause)

If we terminate your account without cause (not due to Terms violations), we will refund the unused portion of prepaid fees on a pro-rata basis.

2.4 Legal Requirements

If required by law in your jurisdiction, we will provide refunds as mandated.

3. No Refunds For

3.1 Change of Mind

No refunds are provided for change of mind, finding a cheaper alternative, or not using the service as much as expected.

3.2 Service Dissatisfaction (Within SLA)

If we are meeting our SLA commitments, there is no refund for preferring a different UI, wanting different features, or general dissatisfaction. You may cancel at any time to avoid future charges.

3.3 Account Violations

If your account is terminated for Terms of Service violations, Acceptable Use Policy violations, fraudulent activity, or non-payment, no refund will be provided, even for unused time.

3.4 Force Majeure

No refunds for service interruptions caused by acts of God, war, terrorism, internet backbone failures, or third-party service failures beyond our control.

4. Promotional Pricing

If you received promotional pricing and we later change your price (per our Terms of Service), you are not entitled to a refund. Your remedy is to cancel before the new pricing takes effect. If your promotional period ends and you continue at standard pricing, no refund is available.

5. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund under Section 2:

  1. Email billing@watch4.me
  2. Include your account email, reason for refund request, and supporting documentation
  3. We will respond within 7 business days
  4. If approved, refund within 14 business days

Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Paddle (our Merchant of Record).

Processing Time

  • Decision: 7 business days
  • Refund processing: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)

6. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

  • Monthly plans: Access continues until end of current billing period
  • Annual plans: Access continues until end of annual term
  • No partial refunds on cancellation (except as described in Section 2.3)
  • You may reactivate your account at any time

7. Chargebacks

If you need to dispute a charge, contact us first at billing@watch4.me. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly.

Initiating a chargeback with your bank may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Additional chargeback fees
  • Permanent ban from the Service

If the charge was truly fraudulent (someone used your card without permission), file a chargeback and notify us at billing@watch4.me.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
